Christian Bale And Jared Leto Have Every Gained Over 600 Kilos In A Heated Competitors To Play Babe Ruth In An Upcoming Biopic

An unprecedented battle for one-upmanship has grown steadily between two Hollywood titans, and there’s no sign of slowing down: Christian Bale and Jared Leto each gained over 600 pounds in a heated contest for Babe Ruth in an upcoming biopic.

Impressive. Who will be the one who flashes first?

The feud began earlier this month when Paramount announced it would soon be playing the role of Babe Ruth in an upcoming film about the baseball legend, a role both men had previously played heavily. Bale made a statement that he had already stopped jogging and gained 10 pounds to better fit the Hall of Famer build for his audition, only Leto quickly pulled out a tweet of his own stating he had stopped to move all the way to packing up to 15 pounds and claiming the role of Ruth. Other actors may have pulled back at this point, but Bale and Leto are both adept at transforming their bodies for a role, and this seems to have sparked a burning rivalry to determine who will go the furthest to get either of the Baseball all- portray. Time sizes.

Ever since both men recognized each other as their main competition for the chance to play The Sultan of Swat, they have massively increased their daily calorie consumption in direct response to each other. Leto’s Instagram photos of his 20 tofutti cutie breakfasts were quickly followed by posts from Bale about how the 40 burgers he consumes a day kept pores puffing up for stinking fat and causing him to have multiple heart attacks. It seemed at first that Leto’s veganism might hinder him as he couldn’t chug the pints of rendered lard that got Bale to 500 pounds, but he quickly dispelled those doubts by shooting past Bale to 550 because he was a mixture of coconut cream and olive oil pumped directly into the stomach with a stainless steel probe tube.

Things have escalated so quickly in those few weeks that both men have gone beyond developing stretch marks and have actively opened up their skin in some places as they are struggling to absorb their new mass, and Bale has reported that due to the Stretch marks need to use a ventilator while sleeping. The squeezing of weight on his lungs suffocates him at all times. Leto has similarly described having to wear a snorkel to breathe because the fleshy mass of his torso folds around his head like a turtleneck, though he was quick to boast that the snorkel’s resemblance to a large drinking straw only made it easier he’s sipping full gallons of his homemade vegan cottage cheese and rapeseed oil smoothies. The fight to portray the Bambino ended almost abruptly last week when Leto’s heart stopped for two minutes, but after being resuscitated and learning that he was permanently blind in one eye, he immediately consumed 30 pounds of peanut butter on a show of undaunted devotion to his cause.

There is no going back when you’ve come this far.

While the men still haven’t directly recognized themselves by name, what they have said to social media and the press makes it clear that they refuse to be outdone. Just yesterday, Bale, who is not on Twitter, had his publicist tweet the following statement on his behalf: “I’m being hoisted from a Chinook helicopter to visit historic Babe Ruth sites in Baltimore, Boston and NY. I take my craft more seriously than some actors and need to transform my psychological terroir as completely as I have my 750 lbs body. “Less than 10 minutes later Leto countered with his own tweet:” Now I have no more pronounced fingers, hands basically two swollen greasy gloves … can’t believe that a certain skinny person still believes he is a baby Ruth LOL 😂 careful beanstalk , don’t blow away 🙈 maybe they throw you as my bat 😘. “

Damn it, it’s gonna be tough!

The sky’s the limit when you’re vying for a role like this, and these cast members seem determined to up the ante to prove they are the right casting decision. But no matter who wins in the end, it’s amazing to see how far an actor will go to really inhabit a part!
