Girl’s life-changing bathe cleansing hack makes mouldy tiles look ‘good as new’

Cleaning the bathroom is one of those tasks that many people like to put off for as long as possible because it can be a bit of a chore.

It’s especially difficult if you haven’t used the exhaust fan properly and the damp room has caused mold to grow in the grout around the tiles.

Mold can be tricky to remove and get your shower or bath looking nice and new again.

However, one woman claims to have found a cleaning hack that does just that, and what’s even better, she says it doesn’t involve any intense scrubbing and only costs you £ 2 to try yourself.

The difference is amazing!

The nameless woman revealed it all in a post on Facebook in 2019 that recently re-emerged.

She first posted a photo of her moldy potting compound to a group with tips and tricks on how to clean it and asked her colleagues for suggestions on how to look like new.

After trying some of the hacks, she finally found one that actually worked, and all she needed to complete it was some cotton wool and bleach.

The woman claims she soaked cotton balls in the detergent and then wrapped them around the tile edges.

The cotton wool was left on the tiles overnight and in the morning the difference was incredible.

She later shared a before and after with the original photo as well as a new one showing the results of the cleaning trick.

“Thanks to everyone who commented,” she said. “I used cotton balls and bleach and attached photos of the results. Wow!”

Dozens of people liked their post, and one commented, “This is amazing!”
