Megan Thee Stallion Surprises a Frontline Nurse on Ellen

Megan Thee Stallion uses her platform forever. During the performance on Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres ShowRapper “Cry Baby” teamed up with the talk show host to surprise a frontline nurse named Jamelmenique Hoy. Jamelmenique temporarily moved her family from Mississippi to Houston back in July to help treat coronavirus patients amid the ongoing pandemic. She and her husband have since lived in a one-bedroom hotel room with their five children, and she has also studied to do her Masters.

Of course, when Megan found out about Jamelmenique’s story, Megan wanted to help and surprised her by teaming up with Shutterfly to give the mother of five $ 50,000 to repay her student loan. “Thank you for helping the world,” Megan said to Jamelmenique as she shredded. The entire exchange was more than sweet. Check out the emotional moment in the video above.
