Meghan Markle and Prince Harry finally revealed their 2020 Christmas card ahead of their first Christmas in the US. On Wednesday, UK-based animal rights group Mayhew debuted the card, which features a beautiful illustration of the couple with their 19-month-old son Archie and two dogs, Pula and Guy, and the words “Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” Archie, who now appears to have red hair like his father, is the star of the festive drawing while his parents are all smiling in their backyard.
The cute card gives us a glimpse of the family home in California as the drawing is based on a photo originally taken of Meghan’s mother in the couple’s back yard, according to a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess. “The small Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, was chosen by Archie and the tree will be replanted after the holidays,” the spokesman said.
On the card, Meghan, a patroness of Mayhew, announced that her family had made a personal donation to the organization and other charities. “From a local California organization helping families out of homelessness to two of our UK patronages: one supporting animal and community welfare and the other, a memorial fund for a valued friend who helps raise children educate and fight poverty in Uganda We have recognized her work for all of us, “she wrote.
