A small, oval face with a well-defined and pointed V-line chin is one of the most sought-after female beauty features in many Asian countries, and you can apparently get it by simply sucking on a bottle-shaped device for 10 minutes a day.
You can buy pretty much anything online these days, but every now and then we come across products that are so bizarre it makes us scratch our heads, a wonder who would ever pay money for them. An example of this is these weird beauty accessories on Chinese TaoBao shopping platform that are designed to help users reshape their faces by sucking on them for just 10 minutes a day. Marketed as a bottle-shaped device, the bottle-shaped device appears to vibrate up to 880 times per minute. These high frequency vibrations somehow stimulate the facial muscles and reshape your face.
The vibrating device runs on AA batteries and is currently priced at $ 198 at TaoBao. However, a quick search on the platform reveals a multitude of similar alternatives with prices ranging from $ 39 to $ 319. Apparently, they are very popular, and according to user reviews, people are generally satisfied with their performance.
The before and after photos posted by sellers also show a significant difference, but you can’t really get your bearings from such evidence, not in this day and age when you can hardly believe your eyes online.
Most of the weird facial exercise equipment used to come from Japan, but China seems to be catching up pretty quickly.
Photos of this product first went viral after being shared on the Hilarious Sticker Zone Facebook group, where hundreds of people shared them and posted funny comments.
